WPNT = WE PAINT!

WPNT means “We Paint” and marks the opening of 3T’s new paint facility in Montella, near their headquarters. It’s the final piece of the puzzle that gives 3T full control over the entire production process—from carbon fiber to finished bike. With in-house painting, they can offer more color options even in small quantities, which was not possible with Asian suppliers. Delivery times for custom builds are now faster—just 6–8 weeks. And the carbon footprint is lower due to less shipping.

THE RACEMAX IN A NUTSHELL

RaceMax is a gravel bike that looks like a road bike, rides like a road bike, but flies over gravel. It’s designed with a focus on speed—on and off the tarmac. The same frame can be built as a fast 700c racer (35–46 mm WAM) or a rugged 650b machine with tires up to 61 mm WAM. Two sets of wheels let you easily switch between road speed and gravel adventure. Thanks to this versatility, RaceMax is always ready for your next ride.

3T INTEGRALE AERO CABLE INTEGRATION

Hidden cables are great for aerodynamics, but usually require bulky head tubes—3T solved it elegantly. They kept a slim head tube while routing all cables internally via the 3T Apto Integrale stem. This leaves the rider with full adjustability and easier bar swaps. The result is clean, functional, and aero. The Integrale system is compatible with both SRAM and Shimano electronic groupsets, in 1x or 2x setups.

IT ALL STARTS WITH THE TIRES

Tires are the biggest factor in gravel bike speed—they affect comfort, grip, and aerodynamics. That’s why 3T measured hundreds of tires to get their actual dimensions, not just the printed ones. They use WAM (Width As Measured) and RAM (Radius As Measured) to shape the frame around real-world data. This ensures optimal airflow and enough mud clearance. Note: front derailleurs (especially electronic) can limit maximum tire width.

SO WHAT TIRE DO YOU NEED?

The right tire is all about finding your ideal WAM—the true width that affects grip, speed, and durability. It depends on terrain, rider speed, and technique—the slower and rougher, the wider tire you need. A chart below helps match WAM to your riding style. Based on your rim width, you can then choose specific recommended tires. Again, a front derailleur may limit your max width.

REALFAST AERODYNAMICS

Painting isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s a critical part of the production process. With painting now done in-house, 3T gains complete control over every detail. Each frame undergoes rigorous inspection at multiple stages to ensure flawless finishes, consistent colors, and long-lasting durability. This step elevates the product standard, ensuring every 3T bike that leaves Montello is visually stunning and ready to perform.

RACEMAX VS. RACEMAX ITALIA, ULTRA AND PRIMO

RaceMax and RaceMax Italia share the same geometry but are made differently. RaceMax uses pre-preg carbon, while RaceMax Italia is filament-wound and RTM molded in Italy. The Italia version has a livelier and more responsive ride feel. Ultra has a similar fit but is built for bigger tires (55–61 mm WAM) and rougher terrain, with a stronger front triangle. RaceMax is the aero purist; Ultra is adventure-ready and easier to maintain. Primo is more road-oriented, with external cables and a do-it-all geometry for versatile riding.

Order your bike online and pick it up directly at our RimRebellion Store & Community Café on Košická 27 in Bratislava. We’ll have your bike fully prepared, professionally set up, and double-checked with you before handing it over. You’ll also have the opportunity to consult with us on the spot – completely free.

2. Courier delivery to your address

We’ll deliver your bike conveniently anywhere in Slovakia. Before shipping, we carefully adjust, inspect, and pack your bike into a specially designed 3T box. Upon delivery, just a few simple steps are needed to complete the setup – we’ll guide you through everything.

75MM DOWNTUBE BASE

Lower downtube aero profile is 75mm wide to fully shield water bottle.

50MM DOWNTUBE NECK

Upper downtube necks down to 50mm to pick up the airflow coming off the front tire.

SIZE-SPECIFIC DOWNTUBE

Reduced depth on smaller sizes to keep frame compliant and keep space for bottles.

NARROW HEADTUBE

Headtube is sizes like a road bike for a narrow 1 1/8”- 1 ¼”steerer for optimal aerodynamics.

BIG STEERER

Inside that narrow headtube is a big 1 1/2” steerer for best strength and stiffness.

MINMAX HEADSET

To fit this big steerer inside the narrow headtube, we use the custom MinMax headset.

MINIMALIST CROWN

Fork crown shapes haven’t changed much since brakes were attached there. Now that we have disc brakes, we don’t need that bulk of material and can reshape the crown for better strength, stiffness and weight. Plus better aerodynamics.

PURE-ROAD FORK LENGTH

With the shorter crown, we can make our forks 25mm (1 inch) shorter than other gravel bikes. Exactly the same as a road fork. This offers better stiffness, lower weight, an easier steering geometry and better aerodynamics.

DOUBLE-DROP CHAINSTAYS

Dropping the drive-side chainstay improves tire & crank clearance. Dropping the other side as well creates a much more efficient structure behind the BB for higher stiffness & strength as well as lower weight.

THREADED BB

Most of our complete bikes come with threaded BBs for the best alignment and to avoid any issues. Yet we avoid gluing threaded alloy rings into the carbon (added weight, complexity and debonding risk).

DIRECT-MOUNT REAR BRAKE

Standard frames require an adaptor to use a 160mm brake rotor. We have integrated that into the frame, meaning you don’t need any extra pieces to attach the brake.

DIRECT-MOUNT FRONT BRAKE

Standard forks require a flip-flop adaptor to set the correct brake rotor size. Our direct-mount pre-sets the caliper for 160mm rotors without any extra pieces.

INTEGRATED FENDER MOUNTS

Invisible until you need them. Perfect for our custom fenders.

SELF-ALIGNING WEDGE CLAMP
