IN THE ZONE

From the very beginning, the Strada was designed to combine aerodynamics with comfort. The frame features two clearly defined zones: the Speed Zone – the front half of the bike with its deep yet narrow head tube, wrap-around down tube, and bladed fork for maximum airflow; and the Comfort Zone – the curved seat tube, slender seatstays, and long exposed seatpost that provide compliance while also aiding aerodynamics.

28–30MM TIRE OPTIMIZATION

Tires have more influence on comfort than any other part of the bike. Wider tires better absorb impacts from cracks, curbs, cobblestones, and potholes, while also offering lower rolling resistance thanks to a shorter contact patch that flexes the casing less.

Wide tires also reduce fatigue caused by high-frequency road buzz. Strada remains the first aero road bike specifically engineered for wider tires—similar to the Discus wheel range. The result is speed and comfort for all-day rides without compromise.

REALFAST AERODYNAMICS

We love aerodynamics—not just in theory, but in real-world riding. The Strada is tested at 20mph (32km/h) and 30mph (48km/h), with bottles and other “aero challenges,” and even in dirty or muddy conditions. The goal is to optimise performance in real conditions, not just in the wind tunnel.

3T FUNDI INTEGRALE II FORK

The Fundi Integrale II fork features deep and thin asymmetric blades for top-tier aero performance, with seamless brake integration and a smooth transition from fork crown to frame. Its precise handling completes the package of speed and control.

3T INTEGRALE AERO CABLE INTEGRATION

Internal cable routing can be nice and help reduce aero drag, but often requires a wide head tube with oversized bearings. The Strada hides cables while keeping the head tube slim—front view reveals narrow bearings and even a pinch between them, side view shows a deep aero “nose.”

The cables run through the 3T Apto Integrale stem, maintaining the minimalist Apto shape while allowing for perfect fit adjustments. Aerodynamics are meaningless if you can’t stay comfortably in your aero position. The Strada is compatible with SRAM and Shimano electronic groupsets, in both 1x and 2x setups.

Technologies

MINIMALIST CROWN

Instead of a bulky, unaero crown, we minimize its size. This improves the crown’s aerodynamics and moves the front wheel closer to the downtube, creating a perfect transition for the airflow.

CONTINUOUS FIBER CROWN

The integrated carbon bearing race uses a separate ring layup (green), so fibers in the fork crown run more straight from the legs into the steerer for a strong and stiff connection.

SQAERO FORK LEGS

The Sqaero fork airfoil only has a small truncation, perfect to guide the airflow around the front wheel and boost fork stiffness. Different left & right profiles are used to counteract braking forces.

MAXIMIZED CURVED CUT-OUT

The curved seattube covers more of the rear wheel and provides extra comfort.

MIND THE GAP

The downtube closely follows the front wheel for better airflow transition and less turbulence.

32MM DOWNTUBE NECK

In front of the water bottle, the downtube narrows to perfectly match the front tire airflow.

NARROW & DEEP HEADTUBE

Narrow (1.125"-1.25" cups instead of common 1.5" for internal cable routing) is aero. Deep guides the airflow. All cables inside.

BIG STEERER

Inside the narrow headtube is a steerer with a large 1.5” lower section for best strength and stiffness.

3T MINMAX INTEGRALE HEADSET

To fit this big 1.5" steerer inside the narrow 1.125"-1.25" headtube cups, we use this custom ultra-sleek high-load headset.

TIRE CLEARANCE

Fits tires up to 30mm WAM and 344mm RAM.

THREADED BB

All Strada complete bikes come with threaded BBs without any alloy rings in the carbon (added weight, complexity and debonding risk).

DIRECT-MOUNT FRONT BRAKE

Standard forks require a flip-flop adaptor to set the correct brake rotor size. Our direct-mount pre-sets the caliper for 160mm rotors without any extra pieces.

SELF-ALIGNING WEDGE CLAMP

Self-adjusting bolt angle for higher clamping forces with lower torque.

RITCHEY RAIL CLAMP

The new standard for road bikes, available for round and oval rails.
